Navigating PebblePad: A Student and External Assessor Perspective Online

This course aims to foster a collaborative and supportive environment where participants can share insights, strategies, and solutions to enhance their experience with PebblePad, both as users and educators. The course aims to help staff familiarise themselves with PebblePad from both a student's and an external assessor's perspective. Participants will gain hands-on experience by logging into the platform as student users, allowing them to explore and understand the common challenges students face. Key topics include:

  • Sharing Workbooks: Learn how students can share their workbooks with external assessors and for assessment purposes.
  • Completing Templates: Understand the process of completing templates and making them visible to assessors.
  • Common Student Issues: Identify and address common issues students encounter while using PebblePad.

Additionally, the course will allocate time to discuss some of the challenges staff users face and explore potential solutions.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain practical experience using PebblePad from a student's perspective.
  • Understand the workflow for sharing and assessing workbooks.
  • Identify and resolve common issues faced by students and staff users.
