About Ruth: Ruth Roan is the owner of Building Business Consultancy and has over 20 years of experience in the business support sector. Since founding her consultancy in 2006, she has successfully helped businesses, organisations, and local communities develop the skills and confidence needed for sustainable growth.
A passionate advocate for enterprise, Ruth specializes in guiding individuals and teams to achieve their commercial goals, ensuring they build strong, lasting business foundations. Recently recognized in ‘100 Women in the South East Midlands to Champion Change’ by NatWest Bank, she is dedicated to supporting businesses and empowering women in entrepreneurship.
Ruth also has several years of experience lecturing at multiple universities, bringing her business expertise into the academic environment to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
